5-2002 Desert Palm Tennis Club Junior Open

Which brings me to the other tournament which was run by Howard Tubin who spent Thursday and Friday from 5-10pm, Saturday 8am - 10pm and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the courts making sure his junior tournament went smoothly. And he did it without a trace of regret, enjoying every minute of it. He gave each participant a fashionable T-shirt that could have been off the shelf at the ABERCROMBIE & FITCH, along with awards for the tournament and consolation winners along with trophies for the runner's up. The tournament included a consolation round ensuring each player gets two matches. Today watching the action was Gregg Guiffria who watched his son win his finals match along with Mrs. Rodriguez who watched her Daughter Virginia win the girls 12 and under consolation round.  The 12 and under girl's Finalist winner is a 9 year old player Alexis Garrett.
