I have so much to say, as I saw so much. I saw how the parents and kids and volunteers, like Isaiah Wilson, Frank Sidoris and others , came together and miracles happened.
The miracle was getting Mobile Medical Services, Wild Oats food market and GALYAN'S, TEAM-ONE, NETPRO, BETTER NUTRITION, DENBY ENERGY BARS, GANDHI'S RESTAURANT, EHRLICH'S DATE GARDEN, OATBAR.com, Jal Daulat's Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinics, Jacqueline Perez's Desert Valley Pediatrics, Monte Carlo tennis club, Milan GROUP, RSVP RENTALS, Anne Rockwell, BALLY'S TENNIS CLUB, David and Debbie Pate, Ted Shively, Misha Nevtic, Sun Coast Casino, Wilson, Enrico Litterini's Match tracking... and many others who sponsored with their time and efforts, like Jasna Pantic, who was on the tournament committee, and was ever present taking care of most of the decorations, presentation and more. She does this for a living with her own catering company, "Organic Palette" of which she runs events at the Sky View Terrace. And it showed as she saw far beyond what I would have done when it came to the trophy presentation, using silk, and various ribbons and excellent placement of the trophy to make it look as great as it is. REBEL Rentals provided her with the linen, presentation silk and holders for the trophy's and offers a full line of tents and all things you might need for a party. RSVP Rentals provided the tables, linens and easels for free for the tournament and I told Vicki at RSVP rentals that it is appreciated that they are supporting Las Vegas tennis.. BALL BOYS
The best ball boy by far was Patrick Kawka , who took his task very seriously. Yet there were so many excellent ball boys and girls, Brandin Kurtz, Sarah Alamshaw, Sheryl Collins, Devon Morrissey, Allison Kenny, Danielle Sellinger, Rick and Lydia Holden's neices Fytria Bashel and her sister, Scott McCrary, Toby Miclat to name a few. All used there player towels to cusion their knees and were serious, making it a nice experience for the open players, many of which said how much they enjoyed having the ball girls and boys, and for the finalists in the junior draws.

who when realizing my tournament was getting very large, offered to
let me use the
The Monte Carlo Tennis Club,
where
Misha Nevtic
runs his tennis program. Misha and Ted not only offered the courts,
but stayed late every night and ran the draw all week and weekend from
his pro shop. And not once did he ask for a dime, or even indicate
I experienced this type of participation from so many, including the whole Miclat family who was always around to do one thing or another, Jim and Dollie Kurtz, who handles so many tasks that needed to be done, Isaiah Wilson, who took care of getting last minute refreshments when the crowd had them all on Sunday, and whom went to Radio shack numerous times until the P.A. system worked for the finals. Anne Rockwell, who had the hotel bring ice, handles many incidentals to running a tournament at BALLY'S, and who helped me raise the wind screens so the matches could be played.
This event was designed to be accommodating to the fans and players and the assistance of so many made this possible.
